The World Renowned Kiele Golf Experience Returns
After a four year absence the world renowned Kiele golf experience returned to Kauai Lagoons on May 23, 2011 with the long anticipated re-opening of the Kiele ocean holes. The former Kiele back 9 returned boasting three new holes, one a new ocean hole, and the longest stretch of continuous ocean holes of any course in Hawaii! Jack Nicklaus originally designed Kiele, and he again headed up the renovation work. The result is a course that is even more breathtaking and exciting. Included in Jack’s redesign are new faster and more consistent TifEagle putting surfaces, beautiful white silica sand bunkers, and as mentioned previously, even more exciting ocean-front golf – four gorgeous holes of it providing an unprecedented half-mile of spectacular unobstructed panoramic ocean views. The original Kiele front 9 completes the 18 holes of Kiele golf.
